When correctly installed and maintained, the La Sanglière 4 cm tape remains highly effective for many years thanks to its robust and carefully engineered design.

10 stainless steel wires (0.40 mm Ø) ensure excellent conductivity and long-term durability. The conductors resist breakage caused by friction in the insulators and by sparks from surrounding vegetation.

29 polyethylene filaments (0.50 mm Ø) specially treated against UV rays for maximum weather resistance.

Open-weave construction prevents “sail effect” and the premature wear caused by wind.

2 reinforced edge bumpers (1 mm Ø) protect the tape from cuts and stretching where it passes through insulators.

The 4 cm La Sanglière electric tape has a breaking strength of 300 kg, which is more than sufficient under normal conditions.
